Is it Compulsory to Submit IGNOU Assignment?
Yes, every IGNOU candidates have to write and submit their assignments to the concerned study centre before the due date. If any student failed to submit then he/she cannot attend the Term End Exam conducted by IGNOU University . IGNOU Assignment Dec 2022 Last Date Extended – We want to inform all IGNOU candidates that IGNOU has officially extended the last date for submission of the IGNOU Assignment for the session Dec 2022 from 30th November 2022 to 15th December 2022. Candidates are requested to submit their assignments before the last date without waiting for the next extension period for the submission of assignments. The given last date will be the final date to accept the assignments by the study centre. The last date is still too far from now and it is enough time to write all your assignments before the time duration and can be submitted without any issues.
How To Submit IGNOU Assignment Online?
We have received queries regarding the submission of the IGNOU Assignment through email by scanning the written assignments. Candidates can send their assignments through email only if they get an SMS from their regional or study centre. If you have not received any SMS or Email regarding online assignment submission then you must wait for the official notification regarding the same from IGNOU.
It is noted that online assignment submission is now somehow mandatory because of current situations in India so candidates are requested to submit their required assignments to IGNOU RC through email before the due date.

Which Session IGNOU Assignment to be submitted?
Many of the students have confusions that which assignments should be submitted for June 2023 Term End Examination so here is the solution to it. Candidates of all programmes have to submit only the 2022-23 session assignment to appear in June 2023 TEE Exam. If your programme has the availability of the July 2022 or Jan 2023 session assignment then submit a fresh assignment to IGNOU Study centre rather than the old one.

IGNOU had Extended Assignment submission last date for All Old or New students (TEE December 2022 SSN) upto 15th December 2022 for ALL Programme of ODL and Online mode. IGNOU had issued notification to this effect dated 02.12.2022 for the extension of assignment last date till 15th December 2022. IGNOU Assignment submission for TEE June 2023 session will start from March onwards for ALL programmes of ODL and Online mode . All Master, Bachelor, PG Diploma (PGD), Diploma, Certificate Student who has taken Admission / RR in July 2022 Session or prior is eligible to submit assignment for June 2023 Session*. Certificate and semester based programme students of Admission session January 2023 are also eligible for assignment submission under TEE June 2023 session. How to submit IGNOU Assignment ?

1. For Student of Year based UG, PG, PG Diploma or Diploma programme
Any student who got admitted in Jan 2022 Admission Cycle and his/her programme is Year based (Eg : MEG, MPS, MCOM, MPA etc) such learner is supposed to submit 1st Year assignment between 1 - 30th Sep 2021 and this session is considered as TEE DEC 2022 SESSION . For any extension in submission date for that session may be checked on the website. Failing in assignment submission for TEE DEC 2022 SESSION, then leaner can submit the assignment in the next coming cycle.
2. For Student of Semester based UG, PG, Diploma, PG Diploma and Certificate programme
Any student who got admitted in Jan 2022 Admission Cycle and his/her programme is Semester based (Eg: BCA, MCA, MP, PGCCL etc) such learner is supposed to submit 1st Semester assignment between 1 - 30th March 2021 and this session is considered as TEE JUNE 2022 SESSION .For any extension in submission date for that session may be checked on the website. Failing in assignment submission for TEE JUNE 2022 SESSION, then leaner can submit the assignment in the next coming cycle.
Note : Assignment Question paper can be downloaded from University Website. Before writing assignment answers check the validity of Assignment question paper which is written on the Assignment Question paper itself. Student who could submit assignment then they need to download fresh Assignment Question paper from website.
