How do Data Add-ons work?
Data Add-ons allow your business to get extra data when you need to use it, so you can be sure to stay connected to your staff and customers while on the move.
You can get Data Add-ons for 24 hour periods, which can be accessed immediately from the time of request. They can be purchased to use in conjunction with any eligible Postpaid mobile plan with a limit of one Data Add-on per 24 hours, per service.
Your Data Adds-ons are billed monthly, aligning with your business mobile plan’s billing cycle and you can easily manage your data in My Optus App.

Unlimited Data Day cannot be shared with other services on the account. See T&Cs below.

24 hours of unlimited data
Unlimited Data Day is a $5 Add-on that gives you 24 hours of unlimited data (available once per billing period).
Unlimited Data Day is available to approved customers on selected eligible Postpaid mobile plans and Prepaid mobile services. There can only be one Add-on per service per month at any time. See T&Cs below.

Data Add-ons
Available to approved consumer and SMB customers on selected mobile plans. Each Add-on can be added once per 24hrs, per service. You can access your Data Add-on as soon as you request it and the full charge for that bill month will appear on your next bill. The inclusion of your Data add-on is added to your shared data allowance on your account. Data is counted in KB increments and includes uploads and downloads. Any unused data is forfeited and cannot be rolled over to your next billing month. Usage alerts are sent at 50%/85%/100% of your shared data. Add-on expires if data used or at end of bill month (whichever is first). Data can only be used in Australia.
Unlimited Data Day
Available to approved consumers on selected mobile plans. For use on mobile phone devices in Australia only. Available for 24 hours from activation for eligible service only, no data sharing. Fair Go policy applies. Not for commercial use. Limit 1 Add-on per service at a time. Add-on may be withdrawn from sale without notice.
Endless Data
Included in eligible plans and automatically applied to all services on the same account that share data. Data slowed to max 1.5Mbps if shared allowance reached. Usage while slowed is unmetered. Excess data option can be changed once per bill month via My Optus app. Applies to data use in Aus.
